Welcome to the home page of the Nelly Custis Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.  Even though our chapter is located at Mount Vernon, Virginia, we often meet at Woodlawn Plantation (the home of Nelly Custis), as well as other venues in and around the Alexandria area.  Our meetings  are usually held on the second Saturday of the month (September through May) and include a social half-hour followed by our program and business session.  

      This website provides information about our chapter’s  history and our patriot ancestors, as well as links to information about DAR membership requirements.   Links are also provided to both our National and State Society websites.
